The 2021 competition has ended click here to view the winners

The last year has taken its toll on Britain and our four legged friends have played an integral part in keeping us going. We think it is time to celebrate them and in doing so we hope to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

“DOGS HAVE HELPED SO MANY OF US GET THROUGH THE LAST YEAR, SO THE OPPORTUNITY TO STARE AT PICTURES OF THEM WHILE RAISING MONEY FOR SUCH A WORTHWHILE CAUSE WAS TOO GOOD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MISS!”
GRAHAM NORTON

“I’m always happy to celebrate the joy dogs bring to our lives and this is a great way of doing just that”
Clare Balding

“Very happy indeed to be a judge for Britain’s TOP DOG and much looking forward to pawing through the entries raising money for Cancer Research UK”
Stephen Fry

“Coming from a family of dog lovers, I am delighted to support this fundraiser for CRUK as a judge. I’m sure we all think that our four-legged friends are the best in the country – let’s find out who really is Britain’s Next Top Dog and support a really worthwhile cause at the same time”
Jake Humphrey

“I yelped when I was asked to be one of the judges for Britain’s TOP Dog. I know it’s going to be hard, because I will fall in love with every dog I see. Such a wonderful way to raise money for Cancer Research . I’m so excited and CANINE wait to get started.”
Saira Khan

“Cancer Research UK means a huge amount to me personally. My second wife Polly died of Ovarian Cancer and during that time I got to know a lot about the amazing work that is being done for all forms of this disease, and what truly wonderful strides are being made by Cancer Research.”
Nigel Havers

“I am thrilled to be a judge for Britain’s Next Top Dog. I adore dogs and can’t think of anything i would rather do than drool over dog photos. And what’s more its all for a fabulous cause. I implore you to enter your dog if you can.”
Gabby Logan

“I’ve been so worried about people who haven’t accessed the care they need because of the Covid backlog. But Covid also shows us how fast science can move. The advances against cancer in the last thirty years have been stunning. But we need to move further and faster. This is a vital, vital cause.”
Jeremy Vine

COVID-19 has hit CRUK hard and is threatening to severely impact their research and is making their ambition of improving cancer survival to 3 in 4 by 2034 more difficult. They’re predicting a drop in fundraising income of £300 million over 3 years and this means that they will need to make major cuts to their research budget every year for the next 4–5 years.
